I saw this recipe on Once a Month Mom and had to try it. This post talked about a "yes" day (there's a book about it but we don't have it!). Having popsicles for breakfast would fall under the category of a "yes" day.
I explained to Abby that she could eat these popsicles whenever she wants. Ever since we made them (at the most random times) she reminds me she can have "a special popsicle whenever I want cause they are the healthy ones."
Strawberry Banana Breakfast Popsicles
recipe from Once a Month Mom
Ingredients
1 ripe banana
1 cup strawberries
1/4 cup low-fat yogurt
1/2 cup low-fat milk
1 tsp vanilla
Directions
Mix everything in a blender and pour into popsicle molds. Freeze.
Makes four large popsicles.
And for all the weight losing moms who would like an Anytime Popsicle too, these puppies are only 2 weight watcher points a pop.
Enjoy! We did!
We loved them! I used greek yogurt though and it seemed to make them kind of thick...good but a little thicker.
ReplyDeleteI would love to try these! Where did you get your Popsicle things to make them in? Also, do you know how long they last and still taste good? Thanks! --Erin
