Chex Mix

We love Chex Mix in this house, but it is definitely not a healthy snack (or cheap either). Making our own Chex Mix has proven to be both healthier and cheaper (the boxes of chex can be used to make 3 batches of chex mix so put the leftovers in an air-tight container).

Homemade Chex Mix

Ingredients

4 cups Corn Chex
4 cups Rice Chex
1 bag of Pretzel Goldfish
1 bag of Whole-Grain Goldfish
2 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp seasoned salt
4 tbsp butter (melted)
3 tbsp worcestershire sauce

Directions

1. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl (it needs to be a really big bowl).
2. Spread out on a cookie sheet (with an edge).
3. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
4. Allow to cool completely before transferring to an air tight container.
