Chinese-Style Meatballs

I had some ground turkey and was supposed to make spaghetti with it, but that didn't sound good. So I googled "ground turkey recipes" and found this. I thought, "This sounds weird, yet interesting, and strangely good." So we tried it and now my husband said we should eat it once a week!

Chinese-Style Meatballs and dipping sauce
recipe adapted from here

Ingredients for Meatballs

1.25 pounds ground turkey (1 Jenny-O package)
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup fine bread crumbs

Ingredients for dipping sauce

1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
sprinkle of ginger

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 400 and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
2. Combine all ingredients until mixed well.
3. Scoop tablespoon sized meatballs onto cookie sheet (I use a small cookie scoop).

4. Bake for 20-25 minutes.

5. While the meatballs are baking, make the dipping sauce.

 6. In a small saucepan, combine ingredients and cook on low until sugar dissolves.

Serve meatballs with rice and veggies.
