Crock-pot Applesauce

I was looking for some new healthy breakfast ideas. Abby loves applesauce so I thought this would be a great way to get some delicious fruit into our morning.

Crock-pot Applesauce

Ingredients

7 Apples  (I used Fuji)
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
3/4 cup water

Directions

1. Peel, slice and chop the seven apples.

2. Put the apples, water and cinnamon in the crock-pot and cook on low for 2-4 hours.

3. Add brown sugar and stir until mixed completely.

4. Serve warm with Homemade Granola (recipe coming soon).

*For Friday Night Dessert Night this week, we will be using the applesauce to make apple pie a la mode!
